Dr. Glyn B Williams
BTech(Hons) MSc PhD
Dr. Williams is an Engineer, Industrialist and an Academic formerly from the University of Birmingham in the UK, where he lectured and researched in Manufacturing Engineering and Manufacturing Planning and Control. He is a co-founder and director of C&G International Inc, a Barbadian company that specialises in the continuous improvement of manufacturing companies, particularly in the Caribbean region. In this capacity he has been involved with Regional Government Agencies and numerous Eastern Caribbean companies.
Dr. Williams has a wide range of practical experience, from Apprentice Engineer to Divisional Engineer and Operations Manager and has worked with a number of multi-national companies. His academic expertise has seen him publish over sixty papers in journals on subjects including Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Discrete Event Simulation, Total Productive Maintenance and World Class Manufacturing.
In his work with C&G International Inc. Dr. Williams has successfully been involved with; the construction of manufacturing strategy, productivity improvements, the improvement of overall equipment effectiveness, manufacturing planning and logistics, the implementation of quality management systems, HACCP and ISO9001/2000.
Fundamental to the success of all of the above is training and coaching and in this respect Dr. Williams is able to utilise his academic experience and knowledge of proven concepts along with his practical and personal experience to effectively train and coach at all levels in organizations. This effectiveness has been demonstrated in training seminars and workshops in the Caribbean, the USA, the UK and Europe, Mexico, Japan and the Far East countries of Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
